You would be joining our mostly remote and multicultural growing startup headquartered in Chicago - IL.

Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Self Motivation to:

  • Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.

  • Think creatively to generate new ideas and implement them visually.

  • Understand and interpret client briefs and be able to input his/her own knowledge, innovation and perspective.

  • Ensure that design work is aligned with the brand identity and with other methods of communication.

  • Work on a range of design pieces, from full-scale branding projects to variety of advertising formats /social media posts, banners, headers, print, etc./

  • Problem-solve through design integrating creativity to the market reality and company needs.

  • Closely collaborate with colleagues like marketing manager, copywriter, social media specialist, video editor and other parties to help produce holistic advertising pieces.

  • Be able to articulate and pitch his ideas to clients, colleagues and others.

Expertise

Preferred Education, Technical Skills, and Experience:

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, fine arts, or interior design, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in graphic design.

  • Experience in advertising agencies or creative teams will be considered an advantage.

  • Proficiency in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Figma)

  • Experience working with a diverse team of marketers, digital specialists, designers and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to clearly communicate design logic and conceptual ideas.

  • Solid understanding of design principles and design systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of advertising and promotion design and brand identity development.

  • Analytical and research skills as a preoperational stage before each project.
